Super Round, game 2. No injuries (manager Ryu Ji-hyun officially confirmed "no injured players" in his departure interview). Korea topped Group B with a 3-0 record (Chinese Taipei 5-0; Hong Kong 13-0 mercy-rule win, the first perfect game in an international tournament; Thailand 18-1 mercy-rule win) but lost 0-5 to Japan in Super Round game 1 (Sep 25). The game is pivotal to Korea's bid for a fifth straight gold.
